AMA Conferences 2013 – 14-16 May 2013 Nuremberg, Germany

Submission of abstracts
Authors are requested to submit an abstract (preferable as word file) of their
work by 1 October 2012 by e-mail (conference@ama-science.org) to AMA Service GmbH.
The abstract should comply with the following terms:

• English language with max. 2 pages A4 or US letter size

• Title and authors’ names (underline the name of the author going to present the paper),
  mailing address, appropriate topic number selected from the list of topics at the top of the first page

• Abstract on first page: single-spaced text outlining the problem, the innovation of the solution, and the
  technical realisation, giving results and literature

• Second page with 2-4 illustrations

• When applying for the Poster Session please indicate "POSTER" on the first page of your abstract.

Sales promotions or advertising papers are not accepted.

Lecture Sessions
20 minutes are allocated for each presentation (incl. 5 minutes for discussion).
The presentation language will be English.

Poster Session
Authors of the Poster Session are requested to prepare a poster in English (90 cm width x 120 cm height)
and to bring it along to the conference.

Conference Proceedings and guidelines for speakers
Authors of accepted papers and posters are requested to prepare a manuscript of their contribution in English.
The manuscript must not exceed 6 A4 pages, including figures and tables. AMA Service GmbH will provide
a template file for the layout of the manuscript. The manuscripts will be electronically published in
the conference proceedings and registered with Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
The Conference Proceedings are published in an open access library which is publically available to
the scientific community on this homepage under Proceedings.
A Best Paper Award is bestowed to the speaker of a paper selected by the conference committee.
After the conference a limited number of papers will be offered the publication in the scientific journal
TECHNISCHES MESSEN of Oldenbourg Publishing.
