Prof. Dr. G. Gerlach Prof. Dr. R. Lerch

On behalf of the Program Committees and of the organizer, the AMA Service GmbH, we cordially invite you to the AMA Conferences 2017 which take place in Nuremberg from 30 May to 1 June, 2017. The AMA Conferences comprise the two international conferences SENSOR and Infrared Sensors and Systems IRS²:

- SENSOR 2017, the 18th International Conference on Sensors and Measurement Technology

- IRS² 2017, the 15th International Conference on Infrared Sensors & Systems

Traditionally, the AMA Conferences are held biannually parallel to the SENSOR+TEST trade fair at the Nuremberg Convention Center (NCC). The previous conferences have shown that Nuremberg is a venue that guarantees successful technical conferences amid an inspiring environment.

The AMA conferences afford an overview of the state of the art in scientific research and development in sensor, measuring, and testing technology. They offer experts from science and industry a platform for presenting their knowledge to a highly qualified audience of professionals. A direct dialog between lecturers and participants is to provide an exchange of experience and know-how in the current developments in sensor technology, optical measuring methods, and infrared measuring techniques.

Besides the scheduled plenary and summary lectures, presentations in parallel meetings and a comprehensive poster session are planned making the three conference days an event to come in close contact with the newest developments and the researchers and developers behind it.

We look forward to seeing you in Nuremberg at the AMA Conferences!
