Abstract
Impedance flow cytometry (IFC) is an emerging label-free, high-throughput sorting method that reads cell-specific electrical signatures across frequencies. This work demonstrates the feasibility of isolating presumptive nucleus pulposus progenitor cells (NPPC) and benchmarks its performance to FACS. Results suggest that IFC accurately identifies and sorts NPPCs, representing a significant advancement for cell-based therapies targeting intervertebral disc degeneration.
