Abstract

In the present work, a multi-sensor array device for real-time monitoring of target compounds (CO 2 , CO, TVOCs, NO 2 , H 2 S, SO 2 ) was developed and validated under controlled environmental conditions. To face the critical issue of data quality, a multidimensional Data Quality Assessment (DQA) framework was proposed. Outcomes showed that environmental/external conditions significantly affect sensors behavior and data reliability. The developed approach therefore enabled the identification of reliable acquisition conditions. The validation of the system for diagnostic purposes on a population of malignant pleural mesothelioma patients is ongoing.
