Abstract

This paper demonstrates the methods that have been adopted and developed to measure the coverage quality of a private, standalone 5G network. Using the specific example of the private 5G network at the University of CottbusSenftenberg, this article presents the application of this method, from hardware to algorithms. The results show the relationships found between input factors such as variations in the physical context and in the network, and key performance indicators such as throughput and round-trip time.
