Abstract
We address the problem of identifying the temperature-dependent parameters of ring-shaped piezoelectric samples based on simulated data. For this purpose, we assume a polynomial structure of the material parameters with respect to the temperature. To increase stability and accuracy of the reconstruction, we apply adapted optimization and regularization strategies using regularized Newton-type methods in a block coordinate descent framework.
