Abstract
Nanoporous materials are highly required for efficient gas sensing. Here, we explore the sensing prop-erties of a set of metal-organic frameworks as sensitive materials of quartz microbalances. The sensors have been shown to be very sensitive to ammonia with a sub-ppm estimated limit of detection compat-ible with the resolution necessary in industrial and clinical applications.
