Abstract

The aim of our work is to design an interdigital electrode that generates standing waves on a Lithium niobate substrate and enables particle separation in a fluidic channel in the particle range below 4 µm. Before manufacturing the actual fluidic device, the frequency dependence of the designed electrode and the position of the nodes and anti-nodes created by the standing waves excited on the surface were tested FEM simulation using COMSOL code.
